The life of Mia Thornton remains a mystery, even when she’s not on The Real Housewives of Potomac. Over the last few days, she’s taken to her Instagram to share a few life updates. She said she’s no longer with Inc and she’s living the single life while staying close to her estranged husband, Gordon Thornton. So, fans were extra confused when she shared a picture a few days later, posted up with R&B singer Bobby V.

“Yes, I’m S I N G L E.” Mia wrote on Instagram on July 28. “Not by choice. Inc decided he didn’t want to take our relationship to the next step and I’m not ready nor in a position to enter another marriage right now.”

Mia went on to say that after spending the last 15 years in a marriage, she’s ready to focus on herself. Two days later, she shared another Instagram post showing her relaxing on a boat, cuddled up with Bobby, whose previous stage name was Bobby Valentino.

Although Mia didn’t explicitly say that the two had a romantic connection, she definitely suggested it with this post. One of the slides had a graphic that read, “If we vibe, we vibe. That’s my type.”

Carlos King, a former Real Housewives producer, waded into the comments, seemingly surprised by the linkup. There, Mia doubled down on her connection to Bobby.

“Mia, I thought my type was short brown and round sister,” Carlos wrote, to which Mia replied, “I gotta a type like real BAD!”

Mia and Bobby’s soft launch comes months after she confirmed her move from the DMV to Atlanta. Amid the move, she’s tried to angle herself for a spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, we’re not sure if dating an early 2000s R&B star would be enough to warrant a peach.
