Caitlin Clark has endured injury torment this season

She is missing being able to play games
But she has been able to perform consistently all year after suffering mutliple injury problems.

Clark’s most recent issue, a groin injury, has kept her out of action since July 15.

The Guard showed how much she is missing playing, sharing a photo of herself in action alongside the caption, “I miss this so bad.”

Unfortunately for Clark she will have to wait a little while longer before her return.

She announced last week that she will be sidelined for the rest of the season.

She said, “I had hoped to share a better update, but I will not be returning to play this season.

“I spent hours in the gym every day with the singular goal of getting back out there.

“Disappointed isn’t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling.

“I want to thank everyone who had my back through all the uncertainty.

“This has been incredibly frustrating, but even in the bad, there is good.

“The way the fans continued to show up for me, and for the Fever, brought me so much joy and important perspective.

“I am so proud of how this team has only gotten stronger through adversity this year.

“Now it’s time to close out the season and claim our spot in the Playoffs.”

Clark’s rehab was complicated by a bone bruise on her ankle.

The 2024 No1 pick has been limited to just 13 regular season games in 2025.

She was also forced out of the WNBA 3-point contest earlier this year.

And she missed the whole of the All-Star weekend in July.
