Ozzy Osbourne’s “favorite daughter,” Kelly, is striving to fulfill the last promise she made to her father before his death on the 22nd of last month. Amidst all the bureaucratic concerns and, of course, the weight of grief, the stylist is doing everything she can to keep it together, as sources from the Daily Mail revealed this Thursday (31).

“The last few days have been tough, but Kelly is focused on carrying out the plan with her mother,” an insider from the British newspaper said, referring to Sharon Osbourne, the businesswoman, American television personality, and Ozzy’s widow.

“Of course, there have been tears, but she promised her father—who openly said he didn’t want people to mourn but instead celebrate his life—that she wouldn’t break down in public,” the source continued.

According to the insider, Ozzy always asked his family to “celebrate what people did in life, and not worry about what comes after, damn it.”

On social media, Kelly adopted a discreet stance. Besides the joint statement announcing her father’s passing, which she signed alongside her brothers’ mother, she only posted a tribute to her father. On her Instagram stories, the stylist shared verses from the song “Changes” by Black Sabbath. “I feel unhappy. I feel so sad. I’ve lost the best friend,” she wrote.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Ozzy had previously revealed that Kelly was his “favorite daughter,” describing them as “two peas in a pod.”

While continuing to fulfill the promise she made to her father, Kelly and her siblings seem to be worried about the “impact” of the rockstar’s death on Sharon. They were married for 43 years.

“She and Ozzy were such a unique couple,” the source added. “For them to be separated… it’s heartbreaking.” During the tribute procession for Ozzy held in Birmingham last Wednesday (30), Sharon appeared with a visibly downcast expression.
