LeBron and Savannah have three children together; his teammate Bronny, 20, Bryce, 18, and Zhuri, 10.
The long-term couple have built an idyllic life together in Los Angeles.
But during a recent appearance on the 360 with Speedy podcast, LeBron opened up on how he and Savannah have made their marriage work.
The 40-year-old said, “I’m gonna be honest, a relationship is never picture perfect.”
He then went on to add, “If you’re okay with working through the hardships and the adverse moments, then it will make it all worth it.
“We’ve been together since high school, so, s*** ain’t always gonna be a bed of roses, in any relationship, let alone someone you’re living with for over 20 years.”
James then named his three biggest factors in sustaining a happy marriage.

“Communication is number one,” the Lakers superstar began
“Being honest is number two.
“And number three is, like, you have to be okay with being uncomfortable in relationships sometimes and you can’t always have it your way, it’s not gonna work that way.”
During the same interview, James was asked if his growing interest in business is a sign that playing his career is coming to an end.
While James initially refuted the claim, he admitted that he can see the finish line.
He said, “No, I’m not. You know, I’m not hinting at anything.
“Obviously I know I’m on the other side of the hump for sure.
“Like, come on now, I’m not about to play another 23 years that’s for damn sure.
“And I’m not about to play another 10. So, I’m definitely gearing up to where the end is.
“I’m not there yet, but I’m super blessed to be able to sit here.”
James is about to enter his 23rd season in the NBA.
The Lakers will return for training camp later this month.
Their first regular season game is set for October 21, when they’ll host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
