ANGEL Reese has sent an apology after calling out her Chicago Sky teammates and appearing to hit at a potential trade demand from her team.

The two-time WNBA All-Star aired out her frustrations as the Sky has endured yet another losing season.

Entering Wednesday, the Sky had 30 losses, the third-most in the league.

Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have been eliminated from the playoffs for the second season in a row.

On Wednesday, the 23-year-old slammed her teammates and sent a scathing message to her own franchise.

Reese told the Chicago Tribune that she “might have to move in a different direction and do what’s best for me” if the team doesn’t improve the roster.

The Sky came away with an 88-64 win over the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night.

Reese spoke to reporters and offered an apology when she was asked whether she was frustrated with her organization.

“I don’t think I’m frustrated [with the Sky franchise]. I probably am frustrated with myself right now,” Reese said, via a video from the Sky’s X account.

“I think the language was taken out of context, and I really didn’t intentionally mean to put down my teammates, because they’ve been through this with me throughout the whole year.

“They’ve busted their a** just like how I’ve busted my a**.

“They’ve showed up for me through thick and thin in the locker room when nobody could see anything.”

Reese’s apology referenced her grievances she had with her teammates in the interview.

“I’m not settling for the same s*** we did this year,” she told the Chicago Tribune.

“We have to get good players. We have to get great players.

“… I’m willing and wanting to play with the best.

“And however I can help to get the best here, that’s what I’m going to do this offseason.”

Reese also made it apparent that she and center Kamila Cardoso should be the players to focus on the squad’s rebuild.

She also suggested that veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot isn’t young enough to lead the offense.

And Reese noted that head coach Tyler Marsh needs to be tougher when coaching.

Nonetheless, if Reese does follow through on suggesting a trade request, she would be a hot commodity for other teams.

She has 23 double-doubles this season and has made the All-Star team for a second straight season.
