WNBA star Sophie Cunningham has warned that she would ‘punch them in the face’ if somebody tried proposing to her at a sports event.

The 29-year-old was discussing a proposal which took place at a recent Ole Miss game on her Show Me Something podcast with co-host West Wilson.

The couple in question got engaged on the field at Vaught Hemingway Stadium after the man pretended to take a field goal.

He then got down on one knee to pop the question – and she said yes.

While it was a happy moment for the couple, Cunningham insisted she would never want to be proposed to that way.

She said, “If anyone were to ever propose to me at any sporting event I would punch them in the nose and I would leave.

Wilson then asked: “Where did he do it? On the field?

“I bet these f***ing fratty f***ing Ole Miss couple they loved it.

And Cunningham continued, “There’s no way in hell if someone were to ever do that to me…

“Actually they wouldn’t do that to me because I wouldn’t be getting proposed to because they would know I would not want that.”

The WNBA star has not played for the Indiana Fever since August due to a season-ending knee injury.

She tore her right MCL during a game against the Connecticut Sun.

The shooting guard tried her hand at golf recently – but it did not go to plan.

While attempting to drive the ball, she accidentally hit somebody in the crowd.

Cunningham then ran over to make sure that he was fine and took a picture with him.
