SOPHIE Cunningham wasn’t afraid to call out Angel Reese over her comments that led to her half-game suspension.
The Indiana Fever star offered her opinion on Reese’s controversial remarks about her Chicago Sky.

Reese made scathing comments about her teammates, saying the Sky, who are currently 10-33, need “to get great players” this offseason.
The Sky then suspended Reese for one game for “detrimental” comments to the team.
Reese has apologized, but Cunningham thinks her remarks never should’ve occurred in the first place.
The 29-year-old spoke on her Show Me Something Podcast and shared her belief that team problems should stay behind closed doors.
“There’s just some things that you can’t say,” Cunningham said.
“I’m a very team-first person.
“I always put the team before my feelings, and I think that should be a standard.
“So, you gotta protect your locker room.
“You can’t be saying everything you’re feeling because that’s not a good look.”
Cunningham suffered a season-ending MCL tear last month.
She said that any public drama leads to “division” in the locker room.
Cunningham believes that any player who openly calls out her teammates should receive discipline.
“If anyone does that, you should get fined,” she said.
Reese let her feelings known about her team in an interview with the Chicago Tribune.
The two-time All-Star name-dropped several teammates when making the comments.
“We can’t rely on Courtney [Vandersloot] to come back [from her ACL tear] at the age that she’s at,” Reese said.
“I know she’ll be a great asset for us, but we can’t rely on that.
“We need someone, probably a little younger with some experience, somebody who’s been playing the game and is willing to compete for a championship and has done it before.”
