Suggestions are mounting that the 40-year-old Los Angeles Lakers small forward is approaching his retirement.

James has now teased that something big is being revealed at 12pm EST today.
He posted a a ten-second video of him walking onto a basketball court and sitting down on his official X account.
This video then ends with the words “The Second Decision coming soon” popping up on-screen.
“The decision of all decisions,” captioned the video.
This has sent fans into meltdown with many wondering if he this will be James’ final season in the NBA.
“The league is gonna add a team in Vegas, LeBron will be the owner, Bron retiring,” one fan suggested.
“LeBron rage baiting a retirement announcement every year,” another posted.
James is entering his 23rd season in the league.
He spent stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat before joining the Lakers in 2018.
The small forward is regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history.
James recently suggested that the 2025 season could be his last with the Lakers.
He continues to play alongside his son, Bronny, 21, but may retire before his 18-year-old Bryce turns professional.
Others have suggested that James could be turning to an alternative career path.
“You’re becoming a full time YouTuber?” asked YouTube megastar Mr Beast.
However, NBA insider Brett Siegel believes that he has cracked the answer to James’ cryptic post.
“For those wondering, LeBron James has a big deal with Amazon,” Siegel explained.
“And Prime Day starts tomorrow. Not a coincidence,”
The Second Decision appears to be a reference to what was dubbed as ‘The Decision’ in 2010.
This was a televised announcement where James revealed that he would be leaving the Cavaliers to join the Heat.
It has been suggested that a similar announcement may take place today.
